SARCCM has successfully brokered an MOU for UNSW-Dongguan University of Technology (DGUT) research collaboration and academic exchange. DGUT is a merging University strongly supported by Guangdong Provincial Government China which is a sister province to NSW. DGUT is set to become one of the top 50 Engineering/Science Universities in China by 2020. The purpose of this MoU is to agree on DGUT and UNSW entering a cooperative agreement to discuss the options for student recruitment for the Canberra City East campus. This MoU will significantly increase research collaborations between UNSW and DGUT and will increase the recruitment of quality DGUT graduates to undertake Master and PhD programs at UNSW.
