Anna Maggiorano, University of Bologna, Italy, 20 Sept – 15 Oct 2016

SARCCM welcomes Anna Maggiorano from University of Bologna, Italy. Anna is a Master student of the Bologna University program in “Earth System Physics”. She is focusing on interdisciplinary numerical Oceanography and, in particular, on a specific issue (the light distribution in the water column) that has been the subject of scientific work carried out jointly by UNSW and Bologna University researchers.  Anna’s is visiting SARCCM from 20 Sept – 15 Oct 2016, and is supported by Bologna University in order to complete and integrate the thesis work with a research work period at a foreign Institution. Her work will strengthen the already existing collaboration between Ocean science researchers at UNSW and Bologna University.
