Through SARCCM, UNSW has signed a Letter of Intent with Rainbowfish Ocean Technology Co. Ltd (ROTC), Shanghai, China,  to establish strategic partnership, establishment of a Joint Marine EIA and Recovery Support Centre (Joint Centre under the UNSW Torch Innovation Precinct). ROTC has agreed to provide a seed funding to SARCCM to conduct a feasibility study for the Joint Centre.
