SARCCM congratulates Zhixin Cheng to be awarded her Master of Philosophy degree by UNSW. Zhixin is the first OUC student who successfully completed MPhil program in Oceanography at UNSW Canberra. Her MPhil thesis is entitled ‘Application of the Geostationary Ocean Color Imager (GOCI) to Mapping the Seasonal and Diurnal Variability of Surface Suspended Matter in a Macro-tidal Estuary’. Zhixin has been awarded a UNSW PhD scholarship and will commence her PhD study at UNSW Canberra in Semester 2, 2016.
