Dr Ling Meng joined SARCCM, School of Science at UNSW Canberra as a visiting fellow

Dr Ling Meng joined SARCCM team, SSCI as a
visiting fellow from 29 January 2024 and continue to
29 January 2025, with a specialization in coastal
environment remote sensing. Throughout her career, she
has been deeply engaged in the research of sediment
plume, dust aerosol transport, and green tide washing
ashore. Following her graduation from Ocean University
of China, she has advanced to the role of assistant
research fellow at the Yantai Institute of Coastal
Zone Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. As a
visiting scholar, she is thrilled to join SARCCM team
and to study the sediment transport model in turbid
coastal environment such as Sydney Harbour. She looks
forward to collaborating with the SSCI community and
achieving new milestones together.
