Li Li wins Outstanding Young Scientist Award at IWMO-2012, May 2012

Ms Li Li won an Outstanding Young Scientist Award (3rd prize) at the Fourth International Workshop on Modelling of the Oceans (IWMO) 21-24 May 2012 in Yokohama, Japan for her presentation about three dimensional sediment dynamics in Darwin Harbour, which is a part of her PhD project. This is her second time to win such an award. Li Li won the same prize at the 2011 IWMO. Congratulations Li Li for an outstanding achievement, again. The award was judged by a panel of 10 internationally renowned senior oceanographers. About 15 young scientists (PhDs and postdocs) from various countries participated in the conference.
